A Long-Awaited Reunion Tour of Tuscany

In February of 2020, I attended the opening of a new Italian restaurant in Brooklyn. The Italian journalists in attendance spoke of the Coronavirus spreading quickly through Italy. For me, as for many Italophiles, it was the beginning of a two-year-long separation from Italy.
